John’s Story: Fast Relief, Renewed Hope, and Care That Looks Deeper

When John and his wife first came to Next Health, they were searching for answers.
His wife had been struggling with chronic nausea and dizziness, symptoms that had not improved through conventional medical care. After seeing multiple doctors without meaningful progress, they turned to Dr. Habib, whom they had known for several years, to explore a more comprehensive and holistic approach.
“My wife has had some issues, unfortunately, with chronic nausea and dizziness that classical medicine has not been successful in any way in treating,” John shared.
While she was already receiving care at Next Health, another issue appeared. She began experiencing pain in her right thigh. At first, John and his wife assumed it was a pulled muscle, possibly from twisting it while sleeping. They tried over-the-counter anti-inflammatory medication, heat, and other at-home approaches, but the pain continued.
After about 10 days without improvement, they saw an orthopedist. X-rays showed some arthritis in her right hip, though it was not considered severe. The orthopedist recommended prescription Celebrex and physical therapy, but John’s wife was hesitant to rely on the medication because of potential risks and side effects.
That is when Dr. Habib recommended PRP therapy.
“He explained what it was,” John said. “And I had heard about it also from other sources, and we thought, let’s give it a try.”
The treatment was straightforward: her blood was drawn, processed in a centrifuge, and then reinjected as part of the PRP treatment. After two months of ongoing pain, the results came quickly.
“The pain had been going on for two months, and it was pretty much gone in two days,” John said.
For John and his wife, the improvement was both surprising and encouraging. She never needed to take the Celebrex that had been prescribed, and she was able to continue physical therapy with significantly less pain.
“The PRP treatment was just an immediate, quick improvement for her,” John shared.
Beyond the PRP therapy, John has seen steady progress in his wife’s broader health journey. Her chronic dizziness and nausea have not been a simple or overnight fix, but through Next Health’s deeper, more holistic approach, they have seen improvement and feel they are finally moving in the right direction.
“Our experience at Next Health has been really fantastic,” John said. “My wife has had chronic problems that seem to stump every other doctor we’ve worked with.”
What stood out most to John was the level of thought, research, and care Dr. Habib brought to the process. He described Dr. Habib as brilliant, thorough, and willing to look beyond the standard answers when conventional medicine had not been enough.
“Dr. Habib is just brilliant,” John said. “He comes up with all the research that he does and explains things.”
John also praised the Next Health staff for their kindness, responsiveness, and professionalism. Throughout their experience, the team has been helpful, pleasant, and willing to answer questions, creating an environment where John and his wife feel supported.
“Everyone on the staff here is super nice and helpful,” he said. “It’s been a great level of care.”
For John, Next Health represents a meaningful option for people who need something more personalized than conventional care alone. While he acknowledges that the care is not inexpensive and may not be covered by insurance, he believes the experience has been worth it for their family.
“If you’re looking for a more holistic approach, or in cases where classical medicine has not been successful, then I would say absolutely do it,” John said. “It’s been worth it.”
For John and his wife, success has meant fast relief from pain, progress with long-standing symptoms, and the reassurance of having a team willing to look deeper, explain clearly, and care personally.
